# The south: Canggu, Seminyak and Uluwatu

Canggu, Seminyak and Uluwatu: beach clubs, surf beaches, cliffs and a lot of traffic. Fine for a few days, but not for your whole trip to Bali.

Let's be straight: this part of Bali is busy. Canggu and Seminyak mean beach clubs, coffee bars and [traffic](/en/practical/getting-around). Uluwatu has cliffs and surf beaches, but more and more building work too. If you want a few days of surfing, going out or lying on the beach, that's fine – and [we'll put it in your trip](/en/personal-trip-plan).
