Canggu, Seminyak and Uluwatu: beach clubs, surf beaches, cliffs and a lot of traffic. Fine for a few days, but not for your whole trip to Bali.

Let's be straight: this part of Bali is busy. Canggu and Seminyak mean beach clubs, coffee bars and traffic. Uluwatu has cliffs and surf beaches, but more and more building work too. If you want a few days of surfing, going out or lying on the beach, that's fine – and we'll put it in your trip. We just don't recommend spending your whole trip here. The Kecak dance at Uluwatu temple at sunset is worth it, though, if you can handle the crowds.
