The example routes on this site are a start. Most travellers want something different: longer, shorter, more beach, a retreat in Ubud, a diving week, a few days on Lombok. All of that is possible. Michèle designs your trip around what you want, with her experience and her contacts on the island. You only pay us for your trip plan. You pay for the trip itself directly to the local people who make it with you.

Getting to know you
In a free 15-minute call, or through the trip planner or the chat. You tell us when, how long, who with and what matters to you. What you do not want is useful to know too.
You choose your package and pay the fee
Then we schedule the intake call.
You get your trip plan
Within five working days of the intake, with a daily plan, driving times and, if you chose it, places to stay. The plan is yours.
You book, or we book for you
You book Dek Leonk and the places to stay yourself, or we do it in your name. You always pay them directly, on the spot or in advance to them.
You travel with local people
Dek Leonk picks you up at the airport and is your point of contact on the island.

Good to know
We do not sell trips. We design your trip and advise you with care. You make the arrangement for the trip itself with Dek Leonk and the places you stay; they are responsible for what they provide. That way your money ends up with them, and we keep our advice independent: we get no commission from the partners we recommend.

Questions about your personal trip plan
What exactly do you do?
We design your trip: the route, the day-by-day plan and, if you like, the places to stay. For that you pay a fixed fee of €250 to €500. If you only want a reliable driver, we put you in touch with Dek Leonk for free.
Why don't I pay you for the trip?
Because we want your money to end up with the people in Bali. You pay Dek Leonk, the homestays and the guides directly. We only earn from your trip plan.
Who is responsible for the trip itself?
The partners you make the arrangement with: Dek Leonk for the transport, the accommodations for your stay. We are responsible for our advice, and we only recommend people we know personally.
What is the difference between the three options?
With Trip plan you get the route and the day-by-day plan, and you book yourself. With Trip plan with stays we also pick out two or three places to stay for you in each location. With All arranged we reserve everything in your name; you pay the partners yourself.
How soon do I get my trip plan?
Within five working days of the intake call. One round of changes is part of it.
What if I get the plan and then don't go?
The plan is yours. The fee is for the work we have done, so you don't get it back once the plan has been delivered. If you cancel after the intake but before delivery, you get half of it back.
Who drives during the trip?
Dek Leonk himself. If he is not available on a given day, a colleague he knows personally drives, and you hear about it in advance.
Which languages does Dek Leonk speak?
English, Indonesian and Balinese. You can chat with Michèle in Dutch.
