Terms and conditions

Who we are
My Bali Tour Guide is a trade name of ESBL B.V., Keizersgracht 62, 1015 CS Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 81886837. Personal trip plans and advice are provided by Michèle, on behalf of ESBL B.V.
What we do
We design trips and give travel advice, for a fixed fee. We do not sell trips, package holidays or travel services and we are not a tour operator.
The packages
Trip plan, Trip plan with stays and All arranged, as described on the site at the time you order. Free contact with Dek Leonk is not a service of ours: we introduce you to each other.
Ordering and paying
The agreement is made when you choose a package and pay the fee. The fee includes VAT and is separate from whether and what you book afterwards.
Delivery
You receive your trip plan within five working days of the intake call. One round of changes is included; further changes are charged at €50 per hour, after consultation.
Bookings with All arranged
We book in your name and only after you approve each part. You make the agreement for each part with the provider (Dek Leonk, the accommodation, the activity). You pay the provider directly. Their terms and cancellation rules apply.
Cooling-off period
You have a fourteen-day cooling-off period. If you ask us to start within that period and then withdraw, you pay a proportionate part of the fee for the work already done. If your trip plan has been fully delivered with your consent within the cooling-off period, the right of withdrawal lapses.
Cancelling
After the cooling-off period: if you cancel after the intake but before the plan is delivered, you get half the fee back. After the plan is delivered you get nothing back; the plan remains yours.
Liability
We advise with care and on the basis of our knowledge at that moment (a best-efforts obligation). We are not liable for how providers carry out the trip, for changes at providers, or for damage caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, volcanic activity or government measures. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount of the fee.
Your own responsibility
You arrange valid travel documents, visa, tourist levy, vaccinations and travel and cancellation insurance yourself. For a scooter you need a valid motorcycle licence and an international driving permit.
Complaints
If you are not happy with our advice, let us know within four weeks of delivery at hello@mybalitourguide.com. We respond within two weeks.
Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law.
