A private driver on Bali, by the day or for your whole trip
Dek Leonk drives you to the rice fields for a day, from place to place for a week, or for your whole trip. He picks you up at your hotel, your villa or the airport. You decide the route and the pace; he knows when to be where to beat the crowds.

How paying works
You book and pay Dek Leonk directly, on the spot or in advance to him. We put you in touch with him for free, or include him in your personal trip plan. We earn nothing on his rides.

How it works

- You get a proposal with a route, driving times and a price. We are honest about what is doable; on Bali ten kilometers can take half an hour.
- You change what you want and only confirm when it is right.
- You can still change the plan on the way. With your own driver, that is possible.

Not included, unless your proposal says otherwise: accommodation, meals, entrance fees, tips and insurance. Dek Leonk takes care of his own lunch; usually he eats at the same warung.
Why your own driver instead of Grab or a taxi?
Grab and Gojek work well in the south and in Ubud, but some villages do not allow them to pick you up, and in the east and north they hardly operate. And on a round trip you do not want to find someone new every day. Dek Leonk waits for you, knows the way and knows where to eat well.
Often asked
Can I book Dek Leonk for just one day?
Yes. A few days ahead is often enough; in July, August and around Christmas, book earlier.
Does Dek Leonk speak Dutch?
No, he speaks English and Indonesian. In the chat Michèle answers in Dutch.
Should I tip Dek Leonk?
You do not have to, but it is appreciated. After a round trip IDR 100,000 to 200,000 per day is usual.
